Giving & Support
As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt educational institution, Virginia School of the Arts relies upon support from individuals, corporations, and foundations, as well as alumni, parents, board members, faculty, and staff, to help cover operating expenses and build its endowment.
Vital ongoing needs—such as student scholarships, performance underwriting, faculty development and salaries, along with renovations and maintenance on the three, historic buildings that comprise the VSA campus—all benefit from gifts of operating support.
Gifts to the Virginia School of the Arts Endowment Fund enable VSA to strengthen its financial foundation and also provide security for future growth.
Gifts of all sizes and types are needed and greatly appreciated. VSA accepts gifts in the following ways:

• securities
• bequests
• gifts in kind
• gifts in honor of or memory of
• matching gifts from donors' employers
