Virginia School of the Arts

 Parent's Association

The Virginia School of the Arts Parent's Association was established as a support organization for current students. All parents are encouraged to be part of this group.  The group meets 2-3 annually with focus on fundraising, student suport, and project planning and execution.

The Parents plan and execute a fall weekend of activities including an annual meeting for budget approval and project planning.  The Association hosts the yearly "Nutcracker Auction" during student performances. They provide and sell flowers at VSA public performances. Local parents correspond through email and telephone providing information and "moments in the life of VSA students" to our of town parents. The Parent's Association provides Birthday cards and helps with student celebrations. The Parent's Association is a link between VSA and the VSA Parent Community.
