Student Life
Housing
The residence halls, opened in the autumn of 1995, are former mansions in a lovely, established residential district of the city, a short distance from the main campus. Each bedroom is unique and furnished to reflect the personalities of the students who live there. A lounge area with TV and games, a kitchen, and laundry facilities are located on the premises. The residence-hall staff is always ready to help the students make the most of their experiences at the School as well as to ensure their safety.

Food Services
Nutritious meals are prepared daily at the main campus under the direction of the Director of Food Services. When informed, the Director will also provide for special dietary needs. Meals at Virginia School of the Arts have earned an excellent reputation.
