To Audition in Person:
Audition requirements: $30.00 fee and two photographs
Required photo poses: First arabesque, tendu a la seconde
Ladies: pink tights, black leotard, ballet shoes and pointe shoes.
Gentlemen: white top, black tights and ballet shoes.

Audition By Video
If unable to audition in person, audition by video, DVD or VHS, will be accepted. However, auditioning at an official audition site or at VSA is strongly encouraged. Video auditions need to be in DVD or VHS format.
At the beginning of the video, please stand facing the camera and give your name, age and grade in school. State which program you are auditioning for.
The video should include 5 min. of classical barre and 5 min. of classical centre work. Ladies should demonstrate en pointe the following: relevés, echappés, pirouettes, petit allegro, and travelling turns.

Let's Dance: Open to students ages 12-18 at all dance levels! VSA's three- week musical theatre intensive is designed to augment current theatre training with an emphasis on jazz, modern, tap, hip-hop, African, swing, and basic ballet technique. For to dancers and theatre students of all levels who are focused on the improvement of both their technical and artistic skills. Audition is not required. Application and deposit due May 1, 2010. This weekday program begins June 28, 2010. Classes held Monday thru Friday each week beginning at 9:30am. Lunch provided. Session Cost: $495.00
